Finding it hard to break into scene....can anyone advise me?

Hi
I'm Richard, 27 from Kent.
Have been trying to meet swingers and have some fun for a while now but simply have no luck. Have placed many ads but still no joy.
Not a bad looking guy and pretty fit, so if anyone can give me some good advice, I'd be so grateful.

there is no magic formula. everyone is different and has found their own road. in my experience it's a matter of getting to know people, getting to know yourself, and getting to know what swinging is. it's not a matter of being fit or not, it's about making a connection. this forum provides the ideal place for that, so stick around, get to know us all, let us get to know you, have fun. it's that simple.

Being 'fit' will definitely be an advantage.
However if you really want to 'get on' I suggest wearing a sombereo.
It works - trust me. wink

best advice we can give,is either try a club or arrange to go on a munch,theres no substitute than meeting people face to face,we spent months trying to find a couple to play with,thru chat on the net,in the end went to a club,and what a time we had there hump

Everyone's got different ideas about this but there are some common views we all seem to share so I won't bother to repeat those.
I think it's a good idea to try and establish an identity on here. Carve yourself out your little niche in SH. Take it a bit steady until you get the feel of things. You may piss a few people off but so what? There are plenty of folk you will relate to just fine (just like real life in that respect).
However you choose to bait your hook, you'll always pull some fish, unless you're a complete nerd of course!!
Humour works well, and honesty and openess speak for themselves.
I zoom around all over the place, popping in and out of the threads that interest me and trying to raise a few smiles in the process. Seems to work for me. I've only seriously taken issue with one person on this site and that was a result of a breach of etiquette on their part for which they have never apologised so we just ignore each other now, which suits me fine.
Do it your way buddy and I hope you have lots of fun and success!!

D'oh! :doh: Was that was I was doing wrong?
Anyone wanna help me organise my comic-book collection? I was trying to write an NNTP search client in C++ but I ran into problems with run-time polymorphism and I think it might have fried my BIOS. Then I set fire to my Chewbacca costume while I was cooking my lunch, and as I ran around in flames I knocked over my collectors edition Babylon Five action figures.

As for the above statement I must admit that some of the men I have met were not really that good looking but were fantastic lovers so there is hope for everyone biggrin
