The little "blue arrow pointing to a blank page" graphic below each topic on the forum screen used to take you to the first unread post in that topic, but now it just takes you to the start of the topic. Whaaaa... this changes my whole way of living...
What are you talking about?
Always baffled but more so by this one!!
Here's a screenshot...
I've drawn a red circle around the little graphic I was meaning - until yesterday I could click on that to see the posts in that topic that had been made since I was last online. But yesterday and today, this seems to no longer work.
woah, mad skills!
How'd you do that, its well impressive !
I agree. As you follow a thread. you can use the 'last post' icon on the right, but when you come back to the forum after a break, you need that left hand one to work!
Thanking you in antici........
Might just be me, but occasionally I get taken back to the home page of the site when I click the 'next page of thread' thingy - seems to happen when there isn;t actually anything on the next page, but the current one is full.
If you're a Mac user you may not know that you can take an instant picture by holding down Control Shift and 4 which turns the arrow cursor into a cross-hair, which you then use to select an area of the screen you want to sepArate.
The Picture is automatically stored on your hard disc, then you can do what you want with it in any appropriate mac software program.
I find some of the filters in Photoshop 7 are excellent for sharpening the outline of nipples, for example.
It's just a useful tip if you want to leave out your face when sending a pic.
As we seem to have digressed a little, can anybody tell me how I can display a picture that I have on my hard drive.
Does it have to be loaded onto an online storage facility before it can be displayed? 'Cos you're not allowed to access files directly from the HD using the img tag.

Mark; if you don't have Mac access, congratulations on building an excellent site that hasn't caused me any problems. The Help file is excellent.
The only odd thing I've noticed as a Mac user is that each screen refresh requires a manual re-adjustment of the screen size. No idea why.
Hmm, that's not happening for me - which browser are you using?
Explorer 5, I think it is. On a G3 333 Powerbook running OS9.2 (Can't afford a new G4 powerbook yet)
You guys are just far too good for me.
I'll go and play with my fairies and rabbits.

Thanks TnH
I haven't used my web space from my ISP yet so I think I will set up a site on there and any pictures I need, I will upload to my own site
