So we are up for our VERY first club meet this weekend and we are torn between Chams and Utopia.
Chams (West Mids) seems to have a good write up and Utopia appears to be not that popular, but the reviews are at least 2 years old!
We would like a calm, clean and well decorated atmosphere with non-pushy people the place is a bit grubby it won't do anything for us. Like most first timers, I suppose we want to feel comfortable and relaxed as we build confidence in our surroundings.
I see Chams has a hotel next door, does this allow extra 'playing' later does anyone know? I like the idea of staying over close by if we can.
Best time to arrive Sat night is after I see. But when do things start to warm up? Also Dawn wants female advice on what to wear first time at a place like this?
Chams seems to be winning at the moment, but does anyone have any recent experiences of Utopia?
Thanks and perhaps we'll meet soon!!

Hi guys, the hotel mentioned is attached to chams it's self and is only 3 rooms so you need to book early if you want one of those, because as you can imagine they are booked up fast....We have never been to Utopia but have been to Chams many times and love it there, there is something for everyone, from locked rooms for private play to the round room where it can get very steamy indeed...
The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, the place is always clean and well maintained, never had a pushy experience there and we tend to go on friday's as that is the night we prefer have found saturday's alot harder to have fun wiuth it being couples only (but this is a personal observation).
Hope you guys have a great time and I would say if at all possible go on a weeknight when it is slightly quietier and get a feel for the place, thats what we did and we went back the very next night and had a fantastic time, as we do everytime we go.

Hi,
I have been going to Chams for 4 years now and as my first club it will always be my favourite. Having said that we all like change now and again and I did go to Utopia for the first time in years just last Thursday with a friend.
I have to say I was really impressed with all the changes they have made to the interior. It is clean and has quite a grand look about the place with its pool and jacuzzi.
The downside is that it was really quiet, although the people there were really nice and made an effort to talk to us. We went on a Thursday and where it was quiet, we went to Chams after which was equally quiet on that night.
I hope that more people do decide to go to Utopia as with a bit of atmosphere I feel it would make a great alternative to Chams and it does offer a slightly different choice of rooms.
With that in mind I would say go to Chams for your first time and maybe wait until you have a small group of friends to go to Utopia with, that way you don't have to rely on the place having someone to play with while they are still getting back on their feet.
Good luck and I may see you there some time smile
I think couples have to pay to join Utopia, so it may turn out to be a bit expensive if you decide it isnt for you. I don't know how much but its one reason we haven't been back there have been in the past and it was decorated nicely but as previously mentioned very quiet. Chameleons is very friendly relaxed with great staff and in our opinion the best club around the midlands. There are some areas that could do with sprucing up, but it isnt seedy or dirty.
Hope you have a great time and let us know how u got along x
I have been to both clubs and chameleons is by far better than Utopia, when i went to Utopia we had been swinging about 5 years and wasnt new to the club scean at all but i found it very had to interact with people even as far as talking to them, so i don't think it would be very good for a new couples who don't really know how clubs work, i personally would recomend chameleons, even more so for a first time couple, over Utopia smile
What about Liberty Elite in Lutterworth? Used to be called liberations I think. Another midlands venue. Anyone been?
In our opinion the best Club to go to for your first visit is Xtasia, a very large Club with all the facilities you need.
You dont have to walk around in a towel or undies if you dont want to, it is a nightclub and has a jacuzzi/sauna area you can use if you want to, or you can stay in the club area to socialise.
There are several play areas to use if the mood is right for you.

Yummy,
We have been to Liberty Elite, our review of the club is on here, and we think it is one of the best in the UK and also very good for first timers.
Been to liberties, Chameleons & Xtasia..
Have to say, I never went back to Liberties cos as a single female(at the time)I found it very 'couple' encouraging and that was actually admitted by the manager, so also felt a bit 'not required' lol
Xtasia was my first club & I loved it cos it was big and airy (I get a little claustraphobic) I could dance, and shag on the dance floor if I wanted hehe.. tho only when the big curtains came down redface but I also had different areas to play in that were airy n roomy.. and when I feel brave enough I like getting felt up in the grope box surprisedops: fook, did I just say that haha.. but have to have the door open at the back.. I can imagine their all handsome with bodies like Arnie hehe.. Plus the licenced bar area is VERY reasonably priced. And I like the choice of wearing Normal clothes to sexy gear
Chameleons... my 1st visit left me struggling as the heat and narrowness nearly made me panic n pass out or got the feeling I wanted to hit someone  I had to find the lounge upstairs to cool off n breathe before I could venture around, which in the end proved an ace night. Im used to it now and can phyc myself up before I go. Though it dont have a licenced bar but they dont mind you bringing your own alcohol so not a problem. Sometimes I feel the clothing rule is a bit restrictive with either sexy clothes or a towel, tho I guess it gives easier access lol I guess also the narrowness makes it easier to chat cos people are so close to you haha. x
Enjoy whichever you choose
