We have 1 male and 2 female playmates, (we, like Dammie are not to keen on the term F**k Buddy)
all are NSA and all are aware not of each other, as we don't discuss any of them with the others, ( :shock: made perfect sense when I typed it dunno

) that we also play with others.
Greedy? hell no
life is a very short and passing phase, you go girl lol

Isn't a f**k buddy someone that you don't really have anything other than sexual feelings for though? Kind of different to friends who you just happen to have sex with from time to time. The fact that you're good friends with them too shows that there is some kind of "relationship" there.
So anyway my thoughts on the matter...
swinging f**k buddies - it's just nsa sex... what you do when you're not with them is absolutely none of their business
Friends who are playmates deserve the respect of knowing if you're playing with someone else although not necessarily who it is.
Someone you are in a full relationship with should, in my opinion, know that you are playing with someone else as well as who you are playing with and have also given their consent for you to play.

anyway f**k buudies does seem to be rather mechanical.....perhaps a softer term could be found......such as M.A.S.S ( mutually agreed sexual satisfier)....or????any suggestions ?

..but you must admit it is at least in part very descriptive. Not a life partner but sexually intimate on a long term bases. 'Intimate friend' would be more than sex. How about intimate friend? Someone who is a close friend and more.

I've been a member of this site for ages, but I'm still not well known to many ... so a very warm hi to all of you smile

It's my own fault off course that I'm not around much because I don't have easy access to the net, and when I do - like this week - I'm not really a messaging/forum person (a bit too lazy I suppose redface

But this topic intrigued me... probably because I identify with it quite allot... :)
My thoughts are...
Personally I call them very special friends :) ... feels nicer putting it that way especially when you're referring to specific people whom you know 'very well'...
As for the greediness... I'm glad most of you think 2 or 3 are not too much... at one point I had five very special friends (no I'm not bragging I just miss it now!) ... all of them females ... all of them knew - at least - that â€˜others existed'...
As for the level of disclosure... I agree with Celestria's classification (except maybe to add that with couples in serious relationships... the partner might also have the right (or desire) to know the details of what happens between their partner and the special friend... but I think that's down to the agreement between them and might not be beneficial unless they enjoy sharing the details and use it to spice up their own sex life)... but yes, as long as there's no deception, there's no problem...
But I wonder if it all really works so simply... now this is only something I've been wondering about lately and not a firm opinion at all... I'm wondering if NSA relations - between a single female and a single male - can stay just NSA relations? In my experiences - and this happened to me several times - you make it very clear from the start that it's only a NSA relation, no emotions involved, I even usually ask them to 'don't fall for me' - not assuming nor intending that this would command or suppress their emotions off course but to make my intentions absolutely clear - but in spite of all that the other person still falls for you... which messes up the whole relationship and breaks it up because I don't feel the same way...
The fact that it happened to me several times makes me wonder... are girls naturally bound to get emotionally involved... or is it just me? I mean I'm usually very caring, tender and passionate... but that's just who I am... I don't mean anything emotional by it, and I'm not sending out any 'loving' signals... it's just the only way I know to treat a lady... but it still gets interpreted the wrong way...
I wondered once if maybe you have to be cold sometimes to maintain the NSA status... but I don't like this thought... both because I don't like being cold and I don't like not being myself!
Is it a natural gender difference? Do guys usually focus on the spoken agreement rather than the actions and hence believe and maintain the no-emotions status... while girls usually focus on the actions rather than the spoken agreement and hence re-evaluate the agreement based on interpreted â€˜signalsâ€™... or is it just me? (sounds like sex and the city :-P )
Or was I just unlucky and shouldn't read too much into it even though it happened several times?

An intriguing question about the differences in perception between males and females and I think you have a point about women interpreting actions more than men.
I know I do.
I've never been in a situation where I've just had a fuckbuddy, but I know that I place a higher importance on some actions within our relationship than Timmy does.
Having spoken to friends about it, I'm not alone in this.
I have in the past fucked people that I didn't love but I was classed as a girlfriend even though I made no promises to be faithful.
The emotion was stronger on their side and so they were very hurt even though I had been up front.
I don't think they misinterpreted any of my actions though, i think they just hoped I would grow to feel the same way they did.
Oh bugger I need to think about this some more confused

I think that the terms are irrelevent. It is how you treat the person and how you feel about them. I have a fuck buddy who calls herself that and to whom I refer to as a fuck buddy/friend/lover etc (depending on with whom I am speaking). She is cool about the term and we are clear about the boundaries. :P :P
I have another lady with whom I am intimate. I call her by her name.. for no other reason that I don't know her well enough to know what term she is happy with. biggrin

the two things they have in common are that they know about the other. I have no intention of getting emotionally involved (beyond what I need to become sexual with them)
If I meet someone off here then I presume that they have other people with whom they are intimate. It is none of my business. Part of getting to know someone is establishing boundaries- I wouldn't get involved with someone if I felt that my boundaries weren't to be respected. lol

If someone used the term fuck buddy disrespectfully then I would take it as an insult. If they are respectful then they can call me anything they like. :twisted:
similarly being called and rug muncher by some people is cool..... by others it is downright bloody rude. :cry:
