Would it not be easier and quicker to drill some holes in the floor, to let the water out ???
John & Shel
what car do you have and where does the water appear to be coming in when it leaks.i have a mk2 mondeo notorious for water leaks from rear lights, pollen filter housing and doors was not leaking from any of these however it was leaking from a small crack in the bulkhead and letting water in behind the ecu .i had to remove the whole interior seats ,carpets the lot before i found it
Yep, mk2 mondeo, done the rear light cluster (both sides) two weeks after buying the car
This is the second time ive had to do the pollen filter
DIY and cars don't go together for me, DIY = DONT INVOLVE YOURSELF, buy some wellies and live with it lol
best way to sort out the rear light problem is to bin the ford ones and buy the clear lexus type lights as they have a much thicker seal and never leak .also much better looking and very easy to change over.
