Im ill
Im sure its the flu
It cant be just a cold
Ive had one day off work
But got to keep working this weekend
Its so cold outside
I cant taste my food
I need huge doses of sympathy

Poor poor you! Nothing makes you appreciate your health more than a good dose of flu.
Get yourself into bed with a hot water bottle, and a hot toddy, and you'll feel better soon!! biggrin

Have you tried a lemsip or somesuch medicine to get you through the day till bedtime.
Tis hard working when you feel poorly.

Ive used vick for the last 3 nights (no boys please dont go there) and i cant smell the damned stuff at all
Yes I know its good to get it out of the way for Xmas, but i guarantee the rest of the family willl get it for next week!!

Flu is awful...............and there's not a lot you can do about it.
Day Nurse and Night Nurse capsules are what I use when I have to try to carry on with normal life...................but really bed and lots of sleep are the best thing.

, I know how u feel treasurechest, i been like that since tues, and not had much sympathy myself, us women just have to get on with it sad

Well I am now into my 15th day of a cold and laryngitis. It started the 2nd Dec, thought i could work it off the the Wigan Munch.
Went to Dr for the third time yesterday and I now have some Pembriton.
My ribs a killing me, ache like hell from coughing.
My sympathy goes out to all in this time of ?merriment and hope it all goes before Xmas.

Wrap up warm and take plenty of fluids, Lemsip is good and I aslo like to take Beechams all in one as an "extra".
No gurantees that the rest of the family will get it, depends on whether you were all together during the contagious period. Flu/colds rarely spread through our family.

It'l certainly get you breathing heavy and help clear out the airways lol
