I didn't ask for figures. I asked how it works in the organizations publish their goings on for their memberships, don't they?

Pop down company house, everything you are entitled to know will be there.

Actually cc_7up most companies are not required to provide their financial figures to the public. They are required to submit them to Companies House but only if they are a limited Company/plc... You can pay to obtain this information but unless you are an accountant I dont see why anyone would want to do this.... Mainly because there could be subsiduary companies which could be more profitable that the main holding company..
Oh and for the record the new owners are not required by law to divulge any information as to who they are in public forum.
Funny isn't it how no-one ever asked Mark questions about his company setup or wanted to see copies of his financial records...... That's because everyone assumed that it was an individual doing it as a hobby.... What's to say that it wasn't run as a company??? Now I am not saying it was, but then no-one ever asked the questions before so why is everyone asking now?? dunno
