just wondering if there are many people on here who speak any other languages other than english or if they don't have english as their native tongue?

I can sometimes be fluent in a language slightly akin to Welsh - generally spoken down the Big Telephone after a Saturday night session :shock:
Think there may be a few of us who can speak in this tongue? smile

There's a thread where someone spoke kind of German recently, but mostly people weren't being very kind of Germans at all.
In order of fluency,
English
Dutch
German
French
Spanish.

English, French, German.
Also know basic phrases (a beer please etc) in Czech, Polish, Croatian, Bosnian, Slovenian, Danish, Italian

I think I got that right....... I haven't spoken German since I was 15! lol

Does anyone know how to get the "accent" symbols for certain languages so I can write things properly? I haven't got the symbols in my word file either which is rather annoying.
I know Neil speaks a little French.... very sexy he is too. Linguists are by far the best going! I love a good linguist! :rascal:

I can say certain things in q few languages.. but am far from fluent in any!! I'm most confident with french and italian.

I speak, read and write Afrikaans and understand Dutch, Finnish and German as Afrikaans is their bastard language.

Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Character Map. (if it's installed. If not I can talk you through that.)

I love other languages... some things sound so much better in another language. I am seriously turned on by some accents.
