Don't think we can make it, In one hand I will have a knackerd laptop and in the other a copy of windows me or XP which ever I decide to install at the time confused

Wish me luck all she should be back on line by December if things go to plan rolleyes

no no no you want to go with vista.... looks stunning shame I couldn't get the sound to work on my pc...
but then again if she was running me before... you will be doing your best scotty impression with Vista " ach she canna take anymore"
Xp pro is your best bet but make sure she has at least 256M of ram otherwise it will crawl.

Its a 5 year old lap top I'm dealing with so vista is out of the question and as for the ram hence i'm undecided untill I've sat in front of the machine trust me I know what I'm doing wink

never said you weren't just giving some advice as I have seen how slow 1200 P3 laptops go on xp with only 128M ram

Not me hands i'm bothered about I've just spent Â£50 on my hair and I don't want to rip it out with stress :lol: :lol:
Right I'm done with this now no more hijacking redface

suffice to say I have back ups to make a format to do drivers to download and other jobs but all being well if i don't get too distracted I'll have it sorted tonight biggrin
