we have been getting a few of these lately from people who we have never met or know .. it seems that its going like facebook people getting as many friends as thy can lol

Internet sites tend to extend the definition of a "friend" even further than the distortion of the meaning that already existed in some people's minds. Whilst Sarah is quite right, I always feel guilty about rejecting someone even if it is justified - not that I get many approaches these days lol

I think its so that people can see when you're online in the hope of a repeat performance!!
..... and then there are some who just seem to collect friends ... dont see the point myself but each to their own!
I just remove them!

Dont think see them as 'real' friends as they dont know me so if I add someone its as an aquaintence online who I may or may not chat with often. My real friends have my mobile number lol
