Bit of a sad thread but Me and Mr Tiggs were having a disagreement over what penny sweet is best:
Black Jakes
or
Fruit Salads
Mr Tiggs is a Fruit Salad man, through and through, whereas I am a Black Jack person
Help us decide which one is right lol

hhhhmmmmmm . . . . . far be it from me to chuck a spanner in the works . . . . but aintcha penny chew atcherly a tuppenny chew these days? t'is inflationary pressure and all that? dunno

for the record . . . much as i love fruit salads, a 50p bag of black jacks will get into my good books anytime!!! always been a sucker for a liquorice coated tongue? :P

Fruit salads for me from the choice given .......
BUT...I'd rather have candy shrimps .....oh and teacakes ...the toffeee ones...mmmmm

yep with bilko on this...I can remember them at 4 for the penny or a farthing each and black jacks are the tops for me, still buy the buggers today, but in the pack instead of loose these days, bloody scrummy.
