Full Moon Parties

Has anyone been to the full moon parties in Thailand?
If so what was it like? :-)

yes was over in Ko phan nan last November and caught the full moon party......the answer is wild. Actually going back over this November and hope to catch it again. There is about 12 bars on the beach front, and they all pump out various types of music at full volume. there are about 7000 people all on the beach and all out there heads on a mixture of cheap booze and mushrooms. they sell a quarter bottle of vodka and two red bulls in a small bucket for about Â£3 !! beware the mushrooms....I took two had two last year and just blacked out for about 4 hours. Can't remember a bloody thing.....could of been rodgered by 15 blokes for all i know...thou guess my arse would have sore had i been !!! The only other advise i would say is get to Ko phan nan at least a day before the party coz accommadation is very difficult to come by. As i say I am back over in NOvember myself...so if you there..come and say hello !!!!

Yes I am going out there next Monday, not sure I would ever do mushrooms again, had a bad trip whilst on my own in DAM last year. I saw Hitler on a crucifix flying around the room with a sub machine gun. Hard Core Mexican Fellas
Buy the way my sister lives out there with her Thai girlfriends so staying with her on the beach, i will ask her for the name of a good bar to meet up with peps going out there.
