I've been reading the forum for a while (thought it good to get a feel for the place before I come wading in) and I honestly never new there was so much fun to be had right at home (I'm one of them Wiganers)

Our student flat would hold a max of 12 people standing - its about as roomy as a single decker bus!
You should try out a club - i know they seem intimidating but keep checking the forums and see if a group of people are going and jump on the wagon!
We went our first club with a couple we know - don't know if we could have got up the courage to go alone but it was first class.
The midlands probably have the better clubs from what we gather - but the Northerners seem more "up for it" imho.
