How come I can look at someones picture in the Gallery but when I click on the link to their profile, they don't have any photos to view? :confused:
I'm just a bit concerned that any private photos I have would be visible when using the Gallery.

Your profile states you have 7 photo's but only 2 are viewable if that helps :-)

Just ensure that on your albums page found here

that your 'private' pictures are in an album that says 'private' and for further privacy do not set any of the private pics as an album cover in your private pics album so to speak.
You can also opt out of any/all of your public available pics showing in the gallery simply by clicking on the picture in question so it's displayed and at the bottom under the picture you should see a box to enable you to opt that particular picture from the gallery. This does not apply to your private ones as they wont show in the gallery anyway.

I have noticed this also, and in the spookiest of cases... you see a picture, click to see the profile, and the profile doesn't have any pictures available at all
I assume a case of the servers updating to whatever the user has requested? Can public pictures show in the gallery before they are approved/show on your profile?

I have always believed that the servers show new photo's in the gallery before they show them on a profile.

The gallery and profiles should update at the same time, we did find a bug though in that some profiles didn't update after a photo was authorised, so in some cases a photo would appear in a gallery and when the profile was viewed no photo's would be visible, the cause has been identified and fixed, we will be running a script to update all of the profiles where this has happened.
Prior to any photo going live in the gallery they need to be authorised, no private photo's are shown in the gallery, this bug did not impact on how and where private photo's are shown, just some public pics not appearing in peoples profiles.
