It's strange to start thinking about putting "rules" to something like this... I'd say that if there's at least three or four guys present to the one lady, then it's a gangbang, regardless of the exact, ahem, ins and outs.
But, if a definition is required then my take on it would be thus:
Three guys minimum, but four to be certain. (You've heard of threesomes and foursomes, but fivesomes?)
More than one guy should be participating at the same time.
I'd say that oral and penetration (obviously!) counts, but I'm not so sure about bukkake. While it can obviously be part of a gangbang, I'd say you need the first two to qualify.
Personally though, I'd go for the "nevermind what you call it, if it feels good do it" approach!

Well, the plan that appears to be shaping up is for my friend to act as minder/host/whatever-you-like-to-call-it. I'd have the company of several nice gents whom I'd have had the chance to chat with, etc., but when their turn came, I wouldn't see which one of them was doing it.
