To honour the great Stephen Fry i thought id start a new topic called General ignorance in which i as the question master ask you questions that have so called obvious answers and see if you know the real answer......im sure you all know the rulesanyway so i didnt really need to make a balls up of them.
First question;
Where do most of the world's tigers live?
no, im afraid your wrong.
Any other guesses? x
Contrary to popular belief - most of the worlds tigers live high up in the canopies of the great Rain Forest of Longwayawayistan, not to be mistaken for Sherwood Forest, which although rather rainy, doesn't have tigers rolleyes only Robins cool
A few tigers have managed to migrate down to ground level, emigrate, and buy themselves some property, Longleat being a popular location 8-)
But most tigers still live in the canapies of Longwayawayitsan 8-)
How do you spell that?? Canapies? Canopies?? dunno I don't wanna be mistaken for them little Canapés that you eat at parties, cos that's a silly answer, noway would you ever fit tigers on one of them, whatever way up you try to put em confused
India confused:
Solofun, tut tut, your not supposed to for the most obvious answer, thats always wrong in this game!
Missy, amazing attempt but im afraid theres a place where even more tigers live!

bengale or siberian ?
( monty python moment " the unladen weight of a swollow?")

Right, the answer is ......
The USA has the highest population of Tigers in the World with just 12,000 tigers being kept as private pets in the country, plus there are tigers in zoos all over the country. There are thought to be between 3,000 and 4,700 tigers living in India.
Question 2
How many wives did Henry VIII legally have?
I know this one as well ...

From the start of his reign to his death
Define legally?
As (at the time) the formost "rubber stamper" of law, the answer would be six. If you are refering to the law as was, one.
...if you're referring to his neferious activities with the fine ladies of the local villages.....hundreds? biggrin
All boys should come home please lol
Well his wives went:
divorced
beheaded
died
divorced
beheaded
survived
So considering that I am fairly certain divorce was still not legally cleared in England, even after the change from Catholic to CofE, I have to guess 4. That is, assuming that beheading counts as death and left him free to re-marry.
It may however be 1, since if divorce was not cleared in law, even if cleared in religion, all the remaining marriages could be null and void.
