Ok... so I have to admit that when I first joined SH I was annoyed by folk simply sending me winks! I thought it was a guy thing and meant that they couldn't be bothered. I was wrong!
Now after many of my well written and thought out PM's have received NO reply from the lovely ladies on SH I too have have become a 'winker'. :censored:
(I'm talking about the paid-up members like me not the free members who are unable to read or reply to messages.)
I'm sick of replying to the photo ads on here only to hear absolutely zero back - not even a thanks but no thanks! God it's annoying lol!
Could I beg all full members (m,f,mf whatever) of SH to at least send a cut and paste "thanks but we're not looking now" etc to anyone who has actually bothered to write a messge?
This rant may have been a little pointless but I do feel better now. *sigh*

I must admit if its a photo ad it would be kinda rude not to reply. I took an ad off after a few hours because I couldnt keep up with doing so.

Are you sure you are only replying to those that you fit the criteria for?
Also if you are responding to women they may have been innundated with responses and you might not have made the final cut.
It is nice to get a response of some type, but you won't always, and resorting to winks probably means that you'll get less, partcularly from women who are probably innundated with requests.
It's also worth remembering that if you are responding to photo ads some of them may be fakes as well.
It happens live with it.
On a final note this is covered on an almost daily basis by single men, the response to their rants range from helpful to abusive and generally get locked PDQ.

I'm with you on this one, if someone has read an ad and chosen to ignore some finer details it doesn't matter how well crafted their reply is, I'm not going to reply - which they'd already know if they'd read my ad 'cos it says I wont be sending out 'thanks but no thanks' replies.
Doesn't bother me when I don't get replies from a pm, I figure they've looked at my profile and I'm not what they're looking for.

could the admin not set up some sort of feature where you can send a reply to all ticked boxes so the women & the few lucky blokes who get way too many replies to reply to them all individually could write a polite thanks but no thanks & send it to 50 or more people at a time
