But sadly this has not been the case so far ( a couple of weeks without the weed). I thought that with the extra O2 wizzing about I would be looking down apon a mamoth erection at all times of the day- but NO- in fact a poorer showing than I am used to. Maybe I should put the patch on my cock and not on my arm!!!
Having never smoked in my life i cant really say much other than get some alcohol in you that should do the trick!
Not too much as you could end up with brewer's droop!
It can take up to 10 years or so for the lungs to clear and regain full capacity... so don't be impatient. Things will improve with time. Well done for stopping smoking! It is not easy to beat an addiction (I should know, I am addicted to food).
weldone for quiting smoking. why not try and do some form of excersie to improve your stamina, as they say every little bit helps.
It Will take time for your lungs to recover to get that extra O2 but regular arobic exercise started gently ie running or swimming can help.
Erection problems are not listed as problems with nicotene patches.
It is actually possible that you are actually anxious about giving up and have low level nicotene cravings that are taking your mind of the job even if you are not aware of them and now that you have started worrying you may get a little depressed which will effect libido and function so you get into a vicious cycle.
If you follow the instructions for reducing you patch dose to ease you off the cravings and do some work to get fitter, you should start to feel healthier and happier and full function will return plus some.
Well done for giving up and a few problems now can mean an active sex life for maybe 20 years more than you would have had.
All the best and good Luck
Try taking Ginko Biloba, it's supposed to make your blood vessels regenerate and help circulation which is the problem smoking causes. Well done though, I've been giving up for years off and on, never noticed much effect on the old chap though either way!
gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
mebbe its time to have a ciggie again, seems the lil lad done walked away along with the fag packet ffs
not using patches now, just a pound of oranges daily
be positive, I managed to stop smoking in 1999 with the help of hypnosise.
I must say that the craving never goes away.6 years on, every now & then i could almost kill for a fag,In the wright mood i cane smell a fag at about 50 meters. But i just remined myself how much better i feal now.
To everyone out there sufering at the moment perservia its wearth say it takes 6 weeks for an action to become a habit, & twice as longe to brake allone wont stop you smoking, thay will help but at the end of the day you must realise- " if its to be its up to me."
well done on your progrese so far.

:notes: Mods, can we please introduce a spell check in the forums? Pretty please? :giggle:
From what Ive heard (speking to people who have giving up smoking cigarettes and weed) - it takes more than a couple of weeks for your body to get used to the fact your not dumping crap in it any more.
Although you do indeed have 'more oxygen' - one of the main effects of smoking (anything) - is that it constricts your blood vessels (hense the increased chance of heart disease) so - no matter how much oxygen you have in your blood - your blood is stuggling to get there, and now youve removed a relaxant that your body now relies on - your a bit more tense everywhere.
It will pass, but depending on how long youve been smoking the stuff... it will take longer, the longer youve been smoking.
If you have been smoking for almost forver, you may never get as good as have you never smoked, but it should get better in time. But if you go back on it, you may gian a little extra in the short term - but it is unlikely to help you in the long term.
Thats the biology roughly as I understand it.... but its a very basic understanding.....
Sini
almost 30 years of smoking , well 28 anyway.
But yeah, its going to take time, I know it will
And yeah, I am so looking forward to seeing the back of the habit
Three weeks on and the changes are noticeable. Sex drive is up especially in the morning, I am calmer all the time, sleep better- in fact need about 1 1/2 hours more a night, now I just want to see the old boy standing out like a tree in a meadow bursting with the fruit of life. Another side effect is I am turning a bit lyrical.
Just a curiosity here, but does the cum of a smoker taste diferent to a non smoker??
Dunno. You'll have to ask the ladies. (or some gents)
