Did you know that last night's bread 'n' butter pudding makes a very fine breakfast?
Such wonderful things can be discovered through sheer laziness. biggrin

Nope, stuck it under the grill so it was nice and crunchy biggrin
yummy did you save any?
The best breakfast I've found is Lamb Korma, Sag Aloo and Basmati Rice microwaved for three minutes at full power.

I don't do breakfast that often, but I've found that cold dominoes pizza and garlic bread left over from the night before can be very tasty 8)
Ready Brek as I then walk about with a radioactive glow all day... !

I totally agree, there is nothing finer, first thing in the morning, than the exhilerating injection provided by a slice or two of cold pepperoni pizza (straight from the fridge) :P
Everyone should try it !! Well at least once

Try making it with Lemmon curd or marmalade as well as butter but let it stand for an hour before you cook it, that way it takes in to the bread the lemmon or marmalade flavours.

I don't like lemon curd... reminds me too much of school dinners surprised but I'll certainly try it with marmalade. smile

To get things back on track....porridge. Love, love it, love it. Made the night before, left to warm in Rayburn.. thick as your Granny's arm by morning.
I eat it every morning, even when I'm up before four. There are only a few days in my entire life when I've missed. Even if I was out in the fields, lambing ewes or something, I'd have it cold, on bread and butter, with a dollop of rum poured over it to keep me just the right side of physical violence. I can taste it now....I always like a second breakfast -'snappin'-at I can then take or leave dinner (but I invariably take)
