As a rule I do not bet, unless it is a private bet between GT and me with the stake being oral sex minutes... currently I owe him about 18 hrs worth from over the past four years but that is another story... Trouble is I'm wrong more often or not... hmmmm... am I being manipulated here?.. lol
Anyway, I used to bet on the Grand National years ago and I've just re-invigorated my annual betting habit by placing a bet on a well know turf accountant's website... how easy was that to do!
Sooo I've studied the form and I've had an each way bet on Kandjar D'Allier and a 'to win' bet on Silver Birch... on each... last of the big spenders heh! biggrin
There was a story on the telly today about a budgie who can pick out winners from the newspapers.
I thought for a moment I was going to see Hattie Jakes cooing at it lol
Apparently this one only pecks at the seed poured on the betting pages rather than leaving a present at the bottom of the cage when a winner's name is called out rolleyes
I had to laugh at the newperson's comment that this was as scientific a way as any of picking a winner
DD

With my charity trek in Morocco in mind I'm going for Eurotrek and Jack High for the poker player in me wink
