couldn`t get the chatroom to work, but just wanted to say what a great site this is, and free.
so much info on places and people, and seems friendly by what i have read on forums.
thats it.

No you dont have to get mirc i have java an can still get in.
I did have quite a problem registering tho it was very frustrating but managed it eventually. I prefer it here tho it much more chilled out and laid back (well most of the time
)
They did say in there that from midnight on a certain night i cant remeber which now that you wouldnt be able to get if you have java but i can.
I have had one or probs lately tho that may be why.

On the chatroom question: We can't get it work at all in Mozilla and it can't seem to select the channel in IE? Is there a trick we're missing (a big 'make chatroom go now' button off in the corner somewhere?

i think its incredible what has been achieved and the work involved
by the mods etc
and when they say keep it free and and rather donate to charitys like the outsiders trust
