Hello,
Having run out of windmills to tilt at, I thought I would stop here awhile and refresh my horses and my useless servant Sancho.
I am, of course, a nobleman.
I am here to protect the honour of any Ladies who require the services of a dashing Knight and his trusty lance.
I am away but I will speak again
Adieu
Don Quixote!
I thank ye for this welcome; I am at your service for the short time that I, and my squire Sancho Panza, shall rest our heads beneath your roof. Our quest is to confront evil, base nature and dishonour, wherever we find it. Ye seem a goodly crew: kind in heart and generous of spirit; I look forward to protecting the weak, innocent and over-burdened. Already, I spy damsels that excite me within my knightly breast. Have no fear, though I tarry but a while, I shall be thy champion...
I AM
DON QUIXOTE!!
I don't think that Don Quixote would have styled himself as a "knight", but I must say I admire his use of colons and semi-colons. And perhaps we should invite him to the next "La muncha".
Miguel Del Norte
(can be very "norte")
So another eloquent and skilled tongue joins our fold. :welcome:
Well now I'm being nosey.. I wasn't aware that he's been here before.. could someone fill me in?
