Having run out of windmills to tilt at, I thought I would stop here awhile and refresh my horses and my useless servant Sancho.
I am, of course, a nobleman.
I am here to protect the honour of any Ladies who require the services of a dashing Knight and his trusty lance.

I don't think that Don Quixote would have styled himself as a "knight", but I must say I admire his use of colons and semi-colons. And perhaps we should invite him to the next "La muncha".

I thank you for your kind words. You are correct in your observation that I was not originally a Knight:I was an Hidalgo, of noble blood, but born to take up the lance of a Knight errant. Since 1605 I have travelled the land, seeking to destroy injustice, punish evil and find my Lady Dulcinea de Toboso. I was, as you will know, knighted properly by the keeper of an inn, which I believed to be an enchanted place. I am also called 'The Sorrowful Knight'. But enough. I have giants to kill
