decided to post this after reading the post about hairy or shaved scrotums.
having been on cam with ladies threatening to tie me down and shave my chest or run their fingers through it i am wondering where does the general concensus lie over this.
does a hairy body embue the caveman perception that plenty of testosterone equals a mans man (do only cold blooded women like hairy men to keep them warm and snuggled up to at night?)or does the lack of hair make a man less of a man? maybe it's just being smooth gives the sense of cleanliness?
each and everyone to their own but i wouldn't like to shave my chest because i'd hate the stubble effect and clothes would be sticking as it grew....more because it's another chore that i have to perform on a regular basis! although i don't find the hardship with my scrotum because it's so quick and feels great after! lol
final note...wish i had so much hair on my head! lol
this post could easily refer to bald heads as well...if you're going thin is it best to take the straggling length off or perservere with what little is trying to cling on?
oh well....two posts instead of one....value for money i say! lol

Hmmm.... Personally I like to keep mine trimmed. There are few things less sexy than the sight of someone trying to seductively spit out a rogue chest hair whilst trying to nipple-nibble.
Hi well personally i like hairy men, i dont like the smooth boyish look at all, i like to see chest hair poking out the top button of shirt, i find that really sexy, and shaved heads for me please, very sexy :twisted:
Why is it that the men with the hairiest chests and (eughhh) backs are the ones who have to shave their heads cos of the lack of hair there?
I prefer men with less body hair but Mr Stuff has a hairy triangle from his pubes up to just above his belly button and I really like that. While he has occasionally shaved his pubes/balls, I like him to leave his belly hair.
I love a hairy man :giggle:

well thanks for the replies guys and gals, i am actually quite impressed with the amount of responses in favour of hairy chests and think that i may take down a few profile details of those in favour! lol
although, the opinion is either for or against, there aren't many opinions as to why except that it does or doesnt suit the fella. ladies, i would like to know why the appeal is there for either case. sandybeach1 has an affection for manliness...,anais..i think you being greedy and like them all...great on you,fluff_n_stuff...you're absolutely right, when hair sprouts on a man it's generally everywhere except the head! explain that!

I absolutely LOVE hairy - the hairier the better - I do feel it's more masculine than the shaved all over look.
i prefer them not to be to hairy but wouldnt like them to shave it off if they were tho ... that would look odd !!!!
I have lived abroad for several years. In France, for example, a man shaving his chest is considered something of a joke. In Canada, on the other hand, manscaping (the term applied to male body-hair upkeep) is almost considered the norm. To a certain extent, it's a cultural thing.
I like hairy a lot. Not hairy is also good. A man confident about what he is is best of all.
I find 'manscaping' rather vain, and vainly is probably the least attractive way to present yourself!
Ummm, I never said I'd refuse to 'entertain' a hairy man, although back hair puts me off a little. I prefer less chest hair than more, but agree that it should be left au naturel. Which is a bit hypocritical seeing the extent women go to to be hair-free and smooth to the touch :shock:
hairy is best of course - speaking as guy with hairy chest - i speak with an objective view on matter
wow - all these women who like hairy - why is it that on ads/TV/magazines - its all smooth chested guys?? the last hairy-chested guy on telly was sean connery and tom selleck
