Erm, I'd advising going for a wee trim with nail scissors rather than a full shave, as in my experience it itches like buggery for days afterwards, and you're not likely to turn on many women if you're having to scratch your meat 'n' two veg every other minute. A trim feels better, and is a big help to anyone blowing you so that they don't end up with an unwanted dental flossing....
