How many of you out there are like me & hate half term. It's bad enough having my own kids wreaking havoc at home without having to put up with other peoples kids messing me about at work mad
If I had known what I was letting myself in for when we talked about baby making, I would have run a mile
I love it.
My partner is a teacher and without half term she would be enbtirely up the wall. banghead
Also my run in to work is so much easier without the 4 x 4s pulling in/out/over wherever they feel like it.
I hate it 'cos I'm at uni and don't get half-term. This means I have to either pay for childcare or send her to the university's free creche whcih means getting up at to be there on time.
The only day off I get is Wednesday - and her dad wanted her for the day. Wouldn't possibly offer to have her on a day when I was busy would he? rolleyes
I'll make it up to her at the weekend - go the flicks and get a chinese. I miss her!
I hate it cos half the people who are meant to be at my work can't be arsed turning up - means wasted time for me rolleyes
I love half term lol
Same as Shloppy - I can get to work in half the usual time which gives me more time for my beauty sleep
Most of my colleagues take half term off so it is nice and quiet, also because Kat has to stay at home and cook my dinner for me every evening
Roll on the summer holidays
Hate school holidays, the kids drive me batty and my autistic daughter gets very mardy at the lack/change of routine, get's very unsettled and bolshy.
I love it - the morning rush hour traffic almost disappears !! cool 8-) 8-)
I love it!! My kids are in yr 2 and nursey so usually i have three trips up the school every day. Half term means NO trips!! Yippee!! Lie iins, chilling out, no time table, can go away, no rushing back for lol
Excellent!
Don't like the hols, because Alicia is away with her family
I miss her
I like half term when I have to be on the road 'cos it's nice and quiet, but when I am working from home it is just far too noisy sad
LOVING IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol
maz xxx (Now realising EXACTLY why she became a teacher biggrin )
As already stated the roads are a dream, but the town centers are a nightmare.
Little :taz: everywhere.

:therethere:
Half Term is a kin nightmare!! mad
Suddenly I find myself doing overtime as an unpaid cabbie for our teenage girls and their friends.
Rural transport aint all that ....and to top it all Jax does not drive.
banghead
half term was last week in this part of the world!!!!!
Hate hate hate hate hate hate em, anything that makes me into a unpaid taxi driver for 10 hours a day is bad, ok, now I dont have the kids at mine its not quite so bad, only 4 hours a day of unpaid taxi work, but why does it have to be early mornings and late afternoons just like when they was at school sad
Part of a parents role is that of unpaid taxi driver. Just gets worse when they are in their teens. I must say that the roads in the morning are so much clearer and makes travelling a joy.
enjoyed half term this time because in november i became a midday assistant so i get to be off with our son who,s 7yrs old , we,ve had a lie in and cuddled up on the sofa watching films etc....and i get paid for it !!! lol cool
