I have had the week from hell , child number one almost mugged for his phone, child number 3 (has behavioural difficulties) suspended from school for 3 days, and a monster sinus infection thats given me hideous headaches.
BUT
I have just had the most lovley time and found myself a happy place biggrin
Mr B and eldest kid were out for the weekend, so me and the 3 youngest bonelets have just made our christmas cake whilst listening to the christmas cd.....
All mini bones took turns in weighing and mixing ingredients, and we all sang along to the christmas music...it was really, really nice, and I feel like my mad week is a million miles away now.
So, where is your happy place that makes you feel like everything is right with the world.
Another good thread Mrs B kiss
We've just got back from Erotica where we stayed overnight last night just the two of us, children free. We woke this morning had a cuppa in bed and chatted, got in the car to drive home and stopped at a greasy spoon and had a fabulous non-greasy bargain and tasty brekkie with mugs of steaming tea chatting without interupption about anything and everything. Bliss. :inlove:
pink x
Glad your week has taken a turn for the better Mrs B.
I find a bit of jiggy jiggy limb mingling puts me in a happy place
Aaaaw Boney.. I remember this scene well - fond memories but my daughter no longer wants to stand making the cake with me, to be honest I haven't bothered this year. I miss the smell of the cake cooking... enjoy these moments hun because all too soon they'll be grown up and off doing their own thing
Thanks Pink, although not worthy of any Pinky points Im afraid!! sad Your day sounds like bliss, and I love a full brekkie that you havent had to slave over...tastes all the nicer somehow lol
Ty Warmer kiss
Its nice Jaymar...the cake smells lovely, and we made some 'test cakes' in little cake cases to eat after tea....
another of my my happy places is here in 'the cafe' too with all you lovley peeps   to you all xxxxxxx
Sounds Fun mrs bone lol  put me in a kitchen and im happy rolleyes (prefer on my own though dek gets in me way) wink
Awww- how sweet! (Despite the fact that I hate Xmas cake!)
Unfortunately, we are now in a position where Christmas will never be the same again. However, with improvisation & the help of friends we'll get through it this year- which is gonna be tough.
Just reading your post has put me in a happy place, so TY BD!
PS- enjoy it while it lasts, once the M*****e starts dissolving their brains, they won't recognise you.

Aww that's nice. Not my thing at all but I appreciate the sentiment.
My happy place is my bed! lol
No, really. My daughter often sleeps with me and to come to bed some nights and find her all snuggled up and looking sweet and lovely is a really nice way to end the day.
Aaaaaw how sweet, I love the thought of the lickle Bonedigger kids being called 'Bonelets'!!!!
My happy place is a park bench I like to go to up on a hill on our local overlooks a lovely view and when I'm sat there I feel at peace for just a moment.

My happy place is hard to find at the moment. I wasn't well at the weekend so I missed the Erotica social sad
Ive got an important Neuro appointment next week, so im panicking.
Id say the two things getting me to a happy place now and again is the thought of us going away for christmas  and all the shoppping ive been doing lol you've got to love christmas just for that, surely cool
louise xxx

ah that's a HORNY place...totally different
Happy place for me would be Christmas Day when my Dad was alive and my son home from abroad, the whole family sat around the table stuffed to the brim with turkey and chatting over coffee and mince pies biggrin
My horny place is in my ex's very secluded garden, stark naked with the sun beating down on my back as I give him a BJ
one of my happy places is the quiet end of the beach at dusk whilst walking the dog where i can be alone with my thoughts and think nice stuff without interuptions and reminders and phone calls apart from when the dog shaking right nxt to me after being for a swim mad
oooohhhhhhh tan that sounds lovely hun, what a nice happy place that is biggrin
Mmmmmm your post reminded me of one of my happy places when i was a mere sparklet! not just mixing cakes with my mum, but when it was my turn to lick the spoon - yummy!

When I was learning to drive, NOT so long ago, my (male) instructor told me to hold the steering wheel like a mixing bowl
If I'd known how to, I would have pulled over and got out - but we hadn't come to that lesson yet mad
