am just speaking out of personal experience here. I am more used to having sexual relations with men older than me and I have to say that I don't think it does. It's not a silly question at all.
Yes there are a significant number of men that suffer from 'erectile dysfunction'.....which is a difficulty to raise and maintain an erection(google it for better information) The ageing process combined with a poor diet, low excercise lifestyle, stress etc, along with certain medicines that are taken to combat other problems as we get older are some of the contributing factors. It's far more common than you think and according to anything I've read will affect most men to some degree at some time during their lives, with the chances greatly increasing with age, as a full blown problem or just an ad hoc thing.
As with all man related problems there is a reluctance to deal with it in the first place by seeing the G.P. and a general reluctance to discuss the problem with other men because of the stigma associated with it. The problem is not curable however it is treatable, with a variaty of chemical and mechanical aids.
I've certainly encountered the problem in the past and no doubt will again in the future but despite this, is , I am very happy that when it does work, you wouldn't want it behind yer ear as a pencil.
