Well my big debut will come up soon on bbc. Won't be holding my breath. Took all day and all I do is walk behind two actors on a bench! Guess I won't be expecting a call from the talent scouts then smile
Oh and if my friend who got me the job is reading this ---- I got ya!!!
Transpose voddy's and my last posts lol.
Claim to fame time............ After ITV telethon I saw Fern Britton very much worse for wear on alcohol lol
Have I been on a TV :rascal:    .......... very nice TV's they were too biggrin
Ahhh television...........
Met the weathergirl Heather Stott and Pudsy the bear when we raised money for children in need a few years back. We were on the telly for about two seconds lol Being teenagers we were more interested in trying to pull the lads in the disco downstairs!
Somethings don't really change do they!
does standing on the telly to clean me windows count?
All these famous people.... My meagre appearances don't add up to much - waving out of a famous trains' window when I was about 10 - ended up on 6 o'clock news. Then there's a couple of disembodied hands playing with electronics on Watchdog (don't ask!) and the piece de resistance is a fleeting in-crowd view on Kylie's Manchester concert dvd from a couple of years ago. Oh, and a fair few radio appearances a long time ago but, ahem, lets just say it wasn't the BBC....
Ant.
A lot easier to get on than get paid! Running at least three month in arrears at minute.
I saw Davej on Crimewatch!!! confused :? :? :? :? lol

was interviewed a few days ago on TV (Work related).
Was wondering if anyone else has been on TV or been an extra etc?

Gave a very brief interview on Newsnight outside a building on a very cold night in NE Derbyshire where I was asked my opinion on a certain well known politician at the time.
Also filmed canvassing and then shown on Newsnight a year later... I thought... ewwww... look at that cube on legs... then realised it was me! biggrin
Shown being sat in the audience (sometimes yawning) at various political conferences...
Was interviewed by Radio 1's Newsbeat as we had hosted Ramon Stoppenburg ( ) for a weekend... Local Radio came round to interview him and me... was a laugh...
Again intereviewed at our local cinema when the first StarWars prequel was released... I really was highly disappointed with the film and made my feelings quite clear... My brother said he got fed up of listening to my nagging tones, on the hour - every hour all afternoon and evening! Hehehe!
Think that is it... my fifteen minutes of fame spread over the past 25 years...
"Police 5" - hosted by Shaw Taylor on ITV(Central).
Say's a lot really ... Interview for a robbery that took place where I worked (and no, it wasn't me) I know how much was in the safe ... wouldn't have been worth the effort. LOL

Ok, so it's late enough to come out and whisper.

yes, Kilroy redface

So did you actually get to speak on it? I've known two people who appeared (on separate occasions) on it, but both got rather shy when it actually started, and neither of them got to be interviewed by the perma-tanned smoothie himself. sad
Mike.
Me and Libra have something in common it seems. smile
I was on Kilroy too with my wife, on a show called "Love and Affairs on the Internet" did anyone see that one? Probably not...
I only got to speak once, was asked by the orange-one what "cyber sex" was. surprisedops:

I had a two page interview in a magazine (RetroGamer) at Christmas, about one of my freeware games that I did. Trashman Anniversary. I'm so multi-talented. lol. LINK REMOVED ON ADVICE.
BTW sorry for digging up old threads, but just wanted to share. lol

Davie
We,ve been on tv quite a few times we were on the terraces watching rugby, and sometimes got on the tv in the crowd
:smile2: but baz has been caught out at embarressing times too !! :giggle:
yep i was on the telly last year, was the local news the woman over the road killer her hubby and they got a shot of me walking with the pushchair in the background lol
It seems that there is a lot of hidden talent lurking within these walls lol
Tanina was once on a Jeremy Vine interview that dealt with..........you've guessed it..........swinging smile
And I was once on a TV programme, about 10 years ago that was pretty popular then, and still has quite a following now that it is shown on satellite TV. The show I was in was the last one ever filmed. And I had a great time while it was being filmed.
The programme?
Oh yes........
The Crystal Maze biggrin
And, yes.........we did win

I was in "The time and the place " hosted by John Stapleton in 1988 'er I think,
All expenses paid to London first class, top Hotel for the night,
Shook hands with Trevor Macdonald,
Pure luxury all the way,
John Stapleton is the nicest person, I have ever met, Quiet, Unassuming, Friendly, A Perfect Gentleman.
