But whats the big deal?

Its quite a big thing for lesser mortals such as myself as it happens so rarely
rolleyes
Sorry Hun never meant it to sound that way! When I think back yes the first time I saw myself on TV it was dead exciting, now days I'm just so used to it sorry! To me it was a job for which I go well paid for so I did it but I have refused to go back for the next series because to be quite honest I can do with out the hassle. One half hour programme is a weeks worth of work. Mind you BBC catering is fab!!!!!
kiss
Not TV, but have done a lot of radio interviews.
At first I would get all worked up and worried but after a while it becomes natural, just like anyother conversation!
Anyway, Shadow , whens and where is this interview being shown?
I was in Bill Forsyths "Gregory's Girl" (when i was in the movies wink )
And appeared on "The Tube" with Ozzy and UFO in 82
When I was about 10 I appeared on CNN news in america for an article on sunbathing and skin cancer. Then last year UKuncovered was aired and apparently I was on it, but still haven't seen it. lol

I think Blue's been on one or two.

Hehehehehehehehehehehe, yeah, but I was never filmed for the movies while doing so wink
Serious answer...... I don't like the media generally so I rarely agree to be interviewed. Don'r trust them, can't imagine why confused Have been in the newspaper a couple of times, but that's it.
I did appear in the crowd at Elland Road behind the try line as Wigan RL scored in about 1986 though lol
Been interviewed quite a bit for the tele and wireless. First time was in the late 60's in black and white  Most recently about 6 months ago.
Question. Why do the presenters on the wireless always do interviews at in the morning confused: I'm rarely awake enough to string together 2 coherent words, never mind a full sentence mad
was on TV on some Danish programme - < ahem > not what your thinking!
I was 15 and was representing the midlands competing againts the Danes on one of their UK badminton tours.
It wasnt even screened in the UK , not even on midlands regional TV
Also was on sky tv playing at a University tournament in Nottingham about 6 years ago.
That about it really - paper a few times but no more TV antics.

Well, I for one have never been on a TV. I still prefer my sexual contact to be all Female. Sorry JudyTV I love you, but NOT that much. lol.
However if it is the Television your referring to then, yes. Once in the male chorus of an Operatic Society in the 1960's when I had a good 'bass' singing voice. Unfortunately there are no singing parts for a 'double bass' voice which is what I have now. lol.
More recently in the 1990's I appeared in a couple of programmes relating to natural history called Wild North, which were I understand screened nationwide. Before anyone asks, it wasn't about the 'Wild' side of Swinging. Honest.

Was wondering if anyone else has been on TV or been an extra etc?

`fraid so....first one was Doctor Who in 1989.....dim and distant past.....most recent not TV but film....though saying which one now that would be difficult....one of many...though none of them successful....yet..... cool 8-) 8-) though you may like to search IMDB for a film that has the words Dead & Gay......

Recordbreakers, 1980. I asked Norris McWhirter a question and he knew the answer!!
We had to submit the questions in advance.

I've been on A tv, but I very much doubt anyone could broadcast that particular appearance. for some reason the public just don't seem ready
