Well all I can say is that it works ok on mine..
Have you changed any settings on your web browser, changed or added any security software....
Have you tried logging into it from another pc .. etc

DS, its a techy glitch, that often happens, its happened to me on numerous occasions, where the mail thing flashes, even though you havenet got any new mail (thereby making your heart leap, and think that youre popular,
OR it doesnt flash at all, thus making you feel like billy no mates, and all the while your inbox could be positively heaving with PM's from interested admirers.
Mine doersnt even flash when its working :upset: :upset:

Always seems to be around the time when I`d rather nobody else was reading me mail too !! It`s never anything innocuous :shock:

i think its something to do with the sender either deleting or reading the sent message before you do dont ask how i know it was brought up in chat or forum a while back could be wrong though :dunno:

I think it probably sorts itself out. But I must admit that when things like that happen it tends to remind me to have a general clean up.
Defragment, run adaware, delete cookies and all that ..

I just keep going to check my inbox to see if I have any mail. Maybe that's the solution until it's sorted? I know I've sent some that haven't been answered, so maybe lots of flashers aren't working? Or I'm being ignored

It can take up to 5 page changes for the new mail icon to start to flash from the time you have recieved the mail. If thats not it i don't wanna know as it means something else i have to fix

sometimes it means the sender has reas the sent mail (from there account) or deleted it before you read it
or a glitch
