Anyone been recently?
We are considering going for a week in early December or January. We like to enjoy ourselves but we fancy this holiday as being a bit of a chillout and don't want to be pestered to join in events and activities.
Can anyone shed some light on what it is really like - not from what you may have seen on TV but actually staying there. Will it do us for a sexy, relaxing Winter holiday? Thanks.

Bonjour!

We try to get to Hedo once a year (normally 1st week of July) and after 6 trips, we gotta say we love the place just as much as we did first time around!!
The whole of January is a 'Lifestyles' month.. i.e. the proportion of swingers is a lot higher so there are a load more PDA's happening!! (PDA = Public Display of Affection) but the great thing about Hedo is that you can get involved as much or as little as you like. We know some people whose Hedo experience consists of laying naked under a palm tree, a good book in one hand and an iced rum in the other..

Go and enjoy yourself, life is far too short not to!!

oh... just one little word of warning, there is a nasty thing that you can catch - Hedonitis.. a evil little bug that will swallow all of your savings, make you lie to your workmates and drag you back to Jamaica time after time.. at the moment, there is no known cure...

just like Shark says you can chill to your hearts content nobody will bother you, or wear your self out doing other activities,free cuber diving, sailing and being naughty. catamaran cruise, it's fantastic at Hedo :!: :!: :!: you must go cool

Thanks for the responses folks - we have done the naughty European stuff (Cap d'Agde, La Macarena etc) but not yet tried Desire or Hedo.
I guess we will be giving at a go !!
