Thats where we go wrong carrying grudges to other irrelevant threads,we need to learn to approach new topics with fresh minds and not judgements from previous threads....i will not respond to this issue on any other thread either,so say what you've got to say here or not at all.

And nothing or nobody from this site is worth that, as we both enjoy the site too much. So it's goodbye from him and goodbye from him too. lol

There was certainly NO ganging up on MsK from me Kent, as anyone who knows me only too well would verify, thats just not something I ever do, and Miss K herself understood.
I have my own very personal reasons for venting my opinion of her post, and also for expressing my own opinion in the way I did.
Why did you feel the need to come and point out that YOU felt she had been ganged up on, in a thread you otherwise did not want to comment upon.
Did the good lady herself express that opinion....certainly not to me, although perhaps if there was a problem, I would have thought that it might have been dealt with in an adult and private way dunno

I also did not hear that I had upset her from her 'partner' who I also was in contact with regarding my reasons for posting, I would have thought if anyone would know if she felt ganged up on it would be him.

I was watching the thread to be honest but a thread is something that I as a man find distasteful, and not something that I know enough about to comment on to be fair. I do not mean that the way it sounded, The whole thing I wish that word did not exist, as I feel so sorry for the women who have been.
I never mentioned any names it was just something that I thought, of which I am entitled to do. If I am wrong then so be it I wont lose any sleep over it, but it was just the way I saw things.
Sorry if I annoyed or upset you as that was not my intention to do, it was purely an observational point.

And as far as I'm concerned, my comment about Miss Kitty's post was irrespective of the subject matter. It wouldn't have mattered if it was about , or washing dishes imo. Asking why people haven't/prompting people too reply to your particular post always comes across as needy to me.

I think that people find crimes and unfortunate circumstances a fascination. They will be inquisitive and their minds start to go into overdrive.
Any kind of enquiry about the events could incur an invasive interrogation on the victim and also being led down a series of irrelevent and redundant enquiries which can also be hurtful.
So I think Helen Mirren, having been through this; is just saying, that in some circumstances, this overwhelming experience outweighs any satisfaction in going through it to achieve a result. Which would be even more dissapointing if the result was inconclusive.
