yes im still alive.
some of you know and some dont but i have been unwell.
soon after the bristol social i visited a doctor as i was still suffering internal bleeding from a slight knock after a bike sort of things i used to brush off but this time it was different.
Very different. So different that competitive bike riding is over as the treatment before and after has weakened my bone structure.
Surgeons have also taken the opportunity to inject steroids into some of my joints which suffered breaks and dislocations over the years.
This was something i had planned to have once riding had finished but the decision was made to do it now to help maintain some strength.
The side affects of this have been massive.
Loss of weight, aggressive mood swings, loss of sex drive and other things you do not want to know about.
i have had an operation which in the end was a simple procedure and im back trying to get fit again but have been warned things will never be the same again.
but as some of you who know me wont be surprised to learn im still riding on the roads and have been test riding for a magazine which are posted on my facebook.
so until im off the drugs and my head is clear i'll be staying in the darkness.
But im thinking of you all and missing the banter.
