We`ve put our names down for the Nottingham Munch and have just managed to scrape on to the list, so thank you.
Its only right that we come to the nub and say hi to you on here. We`ve often read that the way to treat the cafe if you are new to it is similar to the way you would behave if you walked into a pub for the first time, which is exactly what we have done so far.
Unfortuneately that means we have snuck in through the side door, bought our drinks and anxiously nipped across to the table in the corner which only seats two and We have then people watched and conferred rather than conversed openly as people do or should. We really dont mean to , its because we are nervous, shy and unsure...though people in the pub would probably think we are ignorant, which we are so so not.
Anyway, THIS time we have grabbed the mic from behind the bar and announced our arrival!!! so Hi...and hope its as nice here as it appears.

you will find sitting in corners, nervous as hell, is very much the done thing at munches at first too, until the copious amounts of alcohol kick in and you throw caution to the wind. they generally involve some appalling karaoke at that point! ;)

This munch thing has gone from a tentative , nervey pipedream to a full blown "wow, cant wait!!!"
Hope we can enjoy it without excessive drink though ...it is a novel idea.
We keep wondering how to best ensure the evening goes well rather than just pass us by....then we think about the prospect of Wbb being set on us.....sure would be nice to accomplish both.

I doubt we could ever get addicted to this. Mind you is it like the "how do I know if Im going mad" thing? How do we measure it? Is it when we start visiting the site MORE than the current once an hour every day ?(with a night shift rota)
