Well when I first came in here, i was just here for a nosey around so didnt give my name much thought, but then the door slammed shut behind me and ive been here ever since with a boring name!
Always liked the name Cassiopeia since watching Battlestar Galactica redface

lol, and also love looking at constellations and reading mythology so seemed to fit. lol

Cassiopeia has a very distinct shape. She looks like a "W" or "M" in the sky, depending on where she is. Legend says that she was a beautiful woman, who angered the gods. She is made to ride a throne round the pole star, so that at times she hangs upside down to warn others against the sin of boastfulness.

Cassiopiea forms part of a rich story from classical mythology.
I've just read it up from my tattered copy of Pears (notice no apostrophe - a bit strange for a book of knowledge) Cyclopaedia from 1982.
I was going to type it up but I'm still knackered.
If anybody has read my thread from earlier then the boys are still sleeping peacefully and I'm still knackered.
