Decided to give up lurking and say hello to everyone. Looks like quite a community going on and better still people from the Notts area too!
I'll probably remain fairly quiet for the time being but who knows, I might come out of my cosy little shell eventually...

Starting off quietly is a good plan. Take time to see what goes on and only join in when you feel comfortable. That is what I started doing - and still do.

Thanks again to all for the warm welcome. Is it possible to stay in ones shell for long around here? I can almost feel the fluffy crowbars prising it open and the muffled voices screaming "grab his arm"...
