Warming the Bed
can anyone help a newby to this site, is there anyway on the site that i can enter a members user name to contact them or go to their profile.... we wrote down the user name of someone that we were interested about to contact them later but cant find any way to do it (and have now deleted their e-mail )

try searching the list of members. Unfortunately it may take a little time as it's done alphabetically but should get you where you need to be. :thumbup:

Or go to "My Search" in the right hand column over there :arrow:
Then in the 'text' bit, type the username, that should bring up their profile and you can contact em via that biggrin

Go to 'My Search' on the right. In the text box, put in the username. That will pull up their details.

If you wrote down their username, can't you just type that in the box for who you're sending the PM to? Can't see the need to search if you know their username?

Oh if only I'd have used the arrow the last time I gave that advice as opposed to directing the user to the buttons on the left hand side - got the piss ripped out of me for that one redface
