Help me with our new perversion

I'm in need of something I can't find.
I've tried Google/Currys/PCWorld/Comet etc etc.
I'm trying to find a sort of extension cable.
But it's the three cables in one thing that connects audio and camera stuff together.
Red/Yellow/White connections.
All the one's I can find have male connectors. What I need is a set up with male at one end and female at the other.
Does anyone know are these readily available, or is it something I need to have "made up" somewhere.
I can't just buy "Extra length ones" because there's a jack plug at one end of the cable I HAVE to use.
(I'm trying to get the camcorder further away from the TV redface

You can get wireless ones now dammie (camcording direct to infra red link) but they are soooo expensive not sure about the cable you are looking for though, mbe visit an audio video shop in person (but make up something about why you REALLY want it) wink

they are quite good for finding stuff like that! similar sort of thing to amazon

Dammie you could try ebay-I got hold of a cable there I couldn't find in any shop biggrin

dambuster, im no expert but im not sure you would get such a thing.
The idea of av cables (red white yellow) is to connect 2 inputs (females connections) together ie. pc and cam tv and video etc... consequently the cables will always be male.
What equipment is it you are trying to connect?

Dammie - getting a 3 cable AV m-f lead is possible (but not easy) however....
you can get single m-f cables to extend your leads - just buy 3 of them. Try the audio section of Maplins wink
