I'm parked up for the night near Cowley, Oxford but not near any shops and don't have any beer. I can't move now 'cos I've pulled my there any good samaritan out there who could bring me out a 4-pack of Tennents Super or Carlsberg Special brew? Of course I'll reimburse the cost plus something for your time and trouble.
Please PM me if you can get me out of this ghastly predicament and I'll give you the details of where to find

Sorry Eagerslut. I'm usually 15 minutes from Cowley and would have willingly obliged but have headed to the NW for the weekend.

Think this is living proof that friendships are made via SH and that it is possible to feel part of a wider "family" by getting yourself know and interacting with other members here, so let's have no more posts along the lines of "I've been here for a coupla months now and I still haven't met anyone" or "Where are all the swingers?". Sorry ES would have replied sooner had I seen this as Cowley isn't too far from me. (live not far out and I actually work in Cowley). But glad to hear you are already sorted, wouldn't like to think of a fellow member having to go without a beer. cool

I presume you mean Normanby Rd, which is the B1430 north out of Scunthorpe to Normanby. Cupola Way is on the left as you head north on the B1430, just over 1/2 mile past the A1077
