Yes. There is software available that will record cam sessions and it's not that hard to use.

Just be honest and tell them they're not your type. This is supposed to be a mutual enjoyment thing, so if you're not enjoying yourself, don't do it.

Spend longer getting to know them. Chat via msn or email. Ask questions (partners birthday, what kind of place have they got, how's it decorated (this sounds daft, but a womans touch will always show through) etc).
