From B&B owners we know the first major question is do you bother doing evening meals? If you do, that's you tied down to the business for most of the day.
Other things to consider are knowing people who are willing to help run the place if for some reason (eg. party or meet) you are away. also remember that you are allowing people into your home that you don't really know and all that might bring with security. As one fella said to us. Some people would be away with the wallpaper if they thought they could get it out the door.
Having said that, the owners we have met all enjoyed it loving the variety of different people that they meet.
