Its seems a hell of a lot of people have contracted the trojan virus Block Checker.
I did and it was hell to get rid of until helpful soul on a techy forum pointed me to this:

BlockChecker comes up on the first message when you chat to comeone on msn. It states that it is a utility to allow you to see who is blocking you, thus tempting you to download it.
If you havent been infected, don't be tempted to download it.
If you have, follow the instructions in the above link.

Just be careful of a download called SpyFalcon which claims to be a spyware program but is actually a scam that will keep reinstalling itself. Once on your system it's a bastard to get rid of.

Bump :shock: for 2 reasons 1 because its usefull and 2 to say thankyou because I've just spent the last 3 hours trying to kill one of these little fookers then i rememberd this thread and it sorted it out in seconds. :smug:
