Help with signature please

Hi
Can anyone help please....I have been trying to put a sig for our forum posts and I cant get it too work gggrrrrrr lol
I have got something off a website, saved it to photobucket but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right...Is it HTML or URL that I use??

If it's an image then you need to save it to a photo host site like photobucket, imageshack or fapomatic (free services).
Then once it's hosted there the tags you need are given to you. Copy and paste them into the signature section on your profile and save changes.
The tags used here are:
for images
for website links
If it's text then you can simply copy and paste it into the box given here, save changes and away you go. No html code in < > type brackets needed really.
Hope that helped in some warped kind of way.

I always cheat. Hit 'reply' to this post, and then paste the URL of the image in. Then highlight it with the mouse and click the 'Img' button. That will give you the full string to copy into your sig.
It should look something like:

but without the spaces.

good morning..
nothen, if i remember correctly...
in your photobucket account, copy the link for *forums* (thats if it works like imageshack), then go to (on this site) My Settings, over there>>>> on the right, at the top of the page you'll see a *forum settings* thing to click...
that'll open a page, and at the top of that is a box in which you can type a line or two for the Sig, or indeed, paste in your photobucket link... easy, at least it would be if some other, non waffling person had told you.

I like sparkly with the next person but those things just simply do my head in. I am firmly in the 'small-ish signature fan' camp! lol
They should give you the code when you make the infernal thing so you don't have to faff with codes and the like, just copy and paste.

A girl can't take too much twinkle n sparkle apparently, although my fella would disagree and say I was a right magpie. :lol:
And is it supposed to say barmy and batty? Cos I've got a feeling that's what you'll be called from now on! :lol: Should've just signed up with those names to start with! Save the name change fee eh! ;)

Better than my attempt first time I tried all that jiggery pokery tinkering kind of mallarky. Bit rubbish at that kind of thing but somehow I can imagine my fella's face if I decorated his profile with sparkly things!
