Hello, I was wondering how many members are from London and the surrounding areas?
It seems that in the north there is a huge community of like-minded people and SH members. Is there a community of SH members in the South-east and in London? It doesn't seem so. Why is that? Is swinging a northern thing?
Anyway, if you wanna, please make yourself known and introduce yourself here if you are from London or the surrounding areas. I know quite a lot of people have said they are going to the next London Munch, but I wonder how many are going to turn up.
London?
Never heard of it. ;)
You lot know nothing. dunno
It's in Scotland isn't it?
Rich
Who gives a shit?? Really I still gotta get me passport to get outta Cornwall!
All I know is that they speak with an australian accent... don't they?
At least they did in all the bars I staggered through!

No your wrong its in Ireland lol

I think you may be right as there is a rugby team called the London Irish.
As the duly elected member of SH for London I can assure everyone people do live in London I got a total of three votes which proves people live there.
Ahh London, thats the place they keep giving the weather for on the radio, not found out why as I am 50 odd miles away smile
The answer to one of your questions ,Tkano, is yes - swinging seems to be a northern thing. Whether it's the air or the water, I don't know. When I lived in London in the early nineties the main means of swingers contacting each other was the classified ads in Loot - I met quite a few people that way. Whether they are still a good source I don't know, but certainly as regards swinging clubs, the north and midlands seem to have far more, and the membership here in SH seems to have a similar bias northwards....but you know that already.
Mike.
Doesn't England stop at the Thelwall viaduct?
I've never managed to get past it - so I assume it is the edge of the world.

Does anyone pass the viaduct - its nearly impossible at the mo - its a good way of keeping the southerners out of the North West !!!
(Only joking)
London................. isn't that where everyone eats jellied wheels or something and they wear coats covered in buttons? I reckon their buttons must keep popping off to have to carry that many spares.
Don't they all talk in that Rhyming Twang Thingy, such as "up the apples and bananas and round the Johnny Rotten" and then they call everyone "Bloomin Ada"?? confused :? :?
Oh, and they have those red buses where you get on and off at the back because there's no door there.
OH!! OH!!! And every time you say anything to them they say "Leave it aaaart" :? :?
Is that the place??? rolleyes

Damn and I live south of theThelwell sad
As a 110% southerner, I recently lived in exile (South Yorkshire) for several years, and the people there welcomed me with open arms. They let me into their homes, made me feel like party of their family.
Stop, that isn't right - I hated it, and they hated me.............. I must be suffering from sun stroke again !!
Anyhow, Lets put aside all our hatred  for those 'northern monkeys', they were born that way. So if all they can do is call us 'southern shandy drinking b**tards' :P then I think we've got off fairly lightly biggrin

You've met Morbius then Sarge?????????
(runs and hides)
I'll forgive Morbius actually because he left London many many years ago and the accent is fading ;)
I'm very much in London, and proud of it! biggrin
However, I have noticed that a lt more activity goes on north of Watford, can anybody tell me why? Is more business conducted through Loot etc... in London town?
