Good things come to those who wait, it is true.
Whilst you are waiting just get out there and have fun and don't look so hard

Hi Funk,
I find that if you look for it it doesn't come.
Maybe you should try to enjoy being single, there may come a time in the future that you will long for the freedom it brings with it. Being single in your twenties is not as bad as it may seem to you right now. I hope I don't sounding patronising - I dont mean to be, but you're a good-looking guy with a good attitude - the right girl will come along when you least expect it. And she will be all the more special for it.
Love Bunny xx
Funk, Sorry to Hijack this thread a bit, (it is related a bit though)
Has anyone found that someone special through this site?
Any weddings, births etc, I know the majority of people don't come here looking for a relationship but when it happens it just happens.
Just being nosey as i haven't been around all that long..........
Bringing the thread back round to the original topic ....
Sorry you're feeling crap about your singledom, Funk, but it really is something you should try to relish.
Think about it - no one nagging you 'cos you didn't shave this morning, you can fart in bed or out of it anytime you like, no traipsing round the shops when you'd rather be in the pub watching the footie with your mates and you can shag anyone you like, when you like .... ok, a lot of the Smug Marrieds on here can do that too .... but, honest, it's good thing. You've got the rest of your life to be tied down to one person and you are so young now you should be enjoying it ... making memories to look back on in your old age when you're wiping your grandkid's botties.
I'm truly happy to be single again :smug:
There may be times when I might get a bit lonely or want a cuddle. There may be times when I see other couples being all loved up and I feel a slight 'twist' in my stomach (I'll put that down to last night's kebab) but the benefits of singledom far outwiegh the possiblity of ending up in yet another disastrous relationship because I wasn't ready for it or I settled for someone who wasn't exactly right for me.
You will find someone when you're not looking - it's so true. Women can smell desperation on a man. My advice to you is to enjoy your independence while you can and I'm sorry I can't offer you anything more constructive but if we cross paths one day I might shag you - will that help?
