hi have been a member of SH since last november. wld very much like to attend munches etc, i am disabeled and dont have own transport. i use a wheelchair. i live nr slough in berkshire. is there anyone in berkshire area who could offer me a lift? i would be grateful for any advice or help etc . ? cheers

Perhaps the best way to go, is to put your name down for munches etc and if accepted then start asking the question about transport from the folk that are going there seems little point in asking until you have been accepted as a guest. The advice you have been given about getting your name known either by posting in here of getting involved in the chat room is as good as it gets. Bumping your thread constantly isnt getting you known, to be frank its a pain in the arse and will get it locked. So why not use the log in time to join in with other threads etc, far more productive, do that and before you know it, you will get accepted on a guest list and I'm sure someone will either offer you a lift or at worse hitch your chair up on a tow rope, one way or other they will get you there.
