I've had replies.... mostly from 'girls' advising me that I should be using another site.
it all depends on your response to the adds, bear in mind that the people who advertise recieve quite a heavy response, and mail boxes fill quickly. it has been my experiance that a response of about 1 in 50 is a good ratio.
i just stick to the forums now...make friends, and get to know people better.

Hi Mainvein
I think you'll find that you'll get a mixed response when replying to adverts. I've replied to a few and sometimes received a response, and other times no reply. The important thing is to make sure you read the ad in full first and ensure that you give all the details they are asking for. I've turned the tables and placed my own advert with specific details of who i'd like to contact. Unfortunately, all but one of my replies were from people who either clearly didnt read the advert properly or were from people who thought they'd ignore the details and just reply anyway.
