we're a married couple in the Channel Islands, and have decided to branch out on our fun, and thought this may be a good place to start getting to know people & how it all works. so how long does it take before you can follow the chatroom talk ???

in a word . . . yes. and mornings, and afternoons, and night times too. you'll find, in a bout a week so, that it's impossible to log out and actually do constructive things, like eat and tidy up and stuff. just so you know what you've let yerselves in for! biggrin

As it happens we just got back from one in Nottingham.
Yes they are organised by site members up and down the country. I've been to five this year and missed a few, so they're quite frequent. They're purely social and a great way to meet up with the gang. biggrin

I haven't been around long but I already have padded walls and nice long sleeved jackets that tie in the back. I also attended my very first munch this weekend. eeeeeekkkkkk. They ARE all nutters. Stay away from a person who posts as DebbieWebs :uhoh: loon

some of us have had the occasional pleasure of the odd drinkie at them munches, which answers yer other question . . . yep some poor bugger spends about 3 months organising one, then we all turn up and get steaming drunk. don't happen often enough mind! sad

you'll defin being seeing more of us in here, we were a bit apprehensive - we joined last week, but 2nite thought we'd give it a bash - feelin better about being here but it'l take a bit of getting used to. Like the sound of these munches, we're really good at getting really drunk :cheers:

i have to agree with everyone else...keep to the forums...the chat room confuses the heck out of me...everyone here is so much more laid back and relaxed, post topics and reply in your own time here....oh and you wont get as many A/ S/ L's!!.
