Does online status realy make a difference to qty of PM's recieved ? If i read a profile i liked i would send a PM regardless of online status and wait. Or is it when those who send winks / PM's willynilly wont send to people offline due to lack of paitence as they think they will get a swift reply from those online. They need a quick fix in other words. 
Also they would only need to use the date and time of a post and watch forum activity to have a good guess on online status. :dunno:
And do they send them based on the who's in the forum list anyway. :dunno:

What happens goose is the quick shag types see a female style user name online and promptly mail it expecting a quick reply. I know of one female who posts no where near as much as she would like to simply because when she does it shows she is on line and promptly recieves an unsolicited PM

So people actualy use the who's in the forum list at the top of the main page to "hunt" females as well as via the view profile in chat or the search. Thats surprised me and pissed me of as i like to see who's here with me and as i said earlier i sometimes use the profile online status to check if someone i'm looking who for is online. I would never use it in that fashion even in my early days and it's just another spoiler by some for the good folks on here.
But like was said earlier hiding in the forum makes now difference now you can see it in the profile i would expect the two could be linked though.
